embroidery by Linda/crochet by Robin

Welcome to Linda's Corner
Linda has been crafting since before it was the hobby it is now. She made her sister's maid of honor dress for her own wedding in 1966 and with much protest and under duress, was persuaded to make Robin a wedding dress in 1995, combining four different patterns and hand-sewn beading and medallions. She didn't protest as much in 2009 when Robin asked her to make another one when she remarried! Over the years, Linda has done a variety of crafts: sewing, scrapbooking, knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, needlecraft, latch hook, embroidery, and even some painting. Linda retired recently and has had a hip replacement suregery and is contemplating a knee replacement surgery. She loves to craft and bought a big fancy embroidery machine several years ago. She has made gifts for the family over and over and has had many requests for gifts and baby shower items.
Robin's Turn...
Robin is Linda's only daughter. She has three children and is now a stay-at-home mom because her special needs' son requires her to be home. She has been crafting for many years, though she did not inherit Linda's sewing ability. She is also a writer and a photographer. Robin taught herself to crochet and knit to be able to make all of the adorable photo props she saw! She had so many comments on them, she decided to open an Etsy shop. She loves scrapbooking, decoupage, painting, woods, and many other crafts. She has started writing some of her own crochet patterns as well and plans to teach a class in the near future.
